Position Title: Senior Coordinator, Office of the President & CEO
Location: Washington, D.C. (Hybrid)

Position Summary:
The Senior Coordinator, Office of the President & CEO is responsible for providing administrative and organizational support to the President & CEO.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the President & CEO, the Senior Coordinator will provide strong
    administrative and organizational support.
  • Arrange CEO’s domestic and international travel arrangements to facilitate individual and group
    meetings with the association’s members, Board of Directors, elected officials, and government
    regulators. 
  • Provide invoice support and manage CEO’s business expenses in a timely manner, includes
    verifying charges, facilitating approval process, and reporting.
  • Document and record the CEO’s key meetings involving members, Board of Directors, and
    prospective members in the organization’s internal customer relationship management platform.  
  • Support the planning and execution of key meetings and convenings, including Board meetings and CEO-hosted events and dinners. This includes correspondence, scheduling, logistics, compiling materials, and coordination with participants.
  • Engage with the MFA Board of Directors, Board committees, members, and internal teams on
    matters concerning the Office of the President & CEO, maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Prepare, organize, and distribute official correspondence as directed by CEO. 
  • Collaborate with leadership team on special projects as required. 
  • Provide administrative support to other internal teams, as needed. 
  • Perform other duties, as assigned. 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is desired.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience providing executive administrative support at a trade association, government, or related experience. Financial services industry experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented culture that values the importance of being a good teammate, communicator, and partner.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-start, think ahead, problem-solve, and engage proactively with high professionalism, reliability, and accountability.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Occasional domestic business travel is required.

Disclaimer: The annual base salary range for this position is $110,000 – $130,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Please note that the annual base salary range provided is a general guideline and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. These factors include, but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, years of work experience, work location, education/training, internal peer equity, and external market data.
