Position Title: Regulatory Affairs Intern
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid)
Reports to: Vice President, Senior Counsel, Regulatory Affairs

Essential Functions:
- Assist the regulatory affairs team to review current developments in the regulation of financial markets.
- Assist with preparing rule summaries and analyses.
- Participate in weekly Policy team meetings, in addition to other relevant MFA Committee events.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate business, politics, and/or public policy program.
- Available to work during MFA’s hours of operation (9:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.) for a minimum of three days during a full-work week.
- Possess a strong interest in the financial services industry, as well as financial services policies in the U.S.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Has experience working with Microsoft products including Word and PowerPoint.
- Possess strong time management abilities and the capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Compensation: $25 per hour
