MFA submitted a letter to the Securities and Exchange Commision (SEC) supporting proposed amendments to the defiinitions of “small business” and “small organization” under the Investment Company Act of 1940. MFA shared that the proposal would modernize outdated thresholds and ensure the SEC more accurately considers the impact of new rules on small investment advisers when conducting economic analysis.
