MFA submits amicus brief on the expansion of investor access to diversified investment options

MFA filed an amicus brief with other leading financial trade associations calling on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit to clarify the standards courts use to assess fiduciary investment decisions, thereby expanding investor access to diversified investment options. With greater access to 401(K) Plans, long-term retirement outcomes are more secure. The meaningful-benchmark standard helps alleviate the litigation risk that has deterred fiduciaries from including alternative assets in 401(k) plans.
