Samuel Loch is a Research Analyst at MFA. In this role, Samuel works within MFA’s research function, which supports public policy fostering a robust alternative asset management ecosystem around the world. Samuel assists in conducting research that addresses policy and regulatory questions relevant to MFA’s membership.
Prior to joining MFA, Samuel studied statistics, economics, and data analytics, where he used those skills to conduct research on a wide range of topics such as market analysis, text analytics, great power competition, and event driven time series analysis. He also worked at Zen-Bio as a Laboratory Technician.
Samuel earned a B.S. in Statistics, and a B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a M.S. in Analytics & Data Science from the Institute for Advanced Analytics at North Carolina State University.
