Rich Ahrens

Rich Ahrens is a Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer at Davidson Kempner. He joined the Firm in 2023 and is based in the New York office.

Before joining Davidson Kempner, Mr. Ahrens was Vice President of Engineering at Coinbase. Mr. Ahrens received a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Sudhir Anantharaman

Sudhir Anantharaman is the Chief Information Security Officer of AQR Capital Management, LLC, and oversees the information and cyber security function globally. Prior to AQR, he was a Director at Booz Allen Hamilton in that firm’s Financial Services Practice. Sudhir earned a B.S. in Engineering at the University of Illinois, a M.S. in Engineering at the University of Michigan, and an M.B.A. in Finance at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Chris Beels

Chris Beels is Co-CTO of GoldenTree Asset Management and manages Applications, Data and AI initiatives for the firm.  Chris joined GoldenTree in 2011 and has led the Data Warehousing, Regulatory Reporting, and other data-centric initiatives at the firm.  Chris is an active member of the AITEC group of Asset Management technology executives. 

Chris has over 20 years of experience in managing financial systems and IT teams.  Prior to GoldenTree, he was a Director in the Fixed Income Systems group at Millennium Management and one of the founding employees of RiskMetrics.  Chris holds a BA in Economics from Stanford University and is a CFA Charterholder. 

 

Andrew Chin

Andrew Chin is Chief AI Officer and a member of the Operating Committee at AllianceBernstein (AB). In this role, he is responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and scaling AI applications across the firm, with a particular focus on enhancing decision-making and operational efficiency. Previously, Andrew was the Head of Investment Solutions and Sciences, overseeing the research, management and strategic growth of the firm’s asset allocation, data science, index and tax-management businesses. As the firm’s chief risk officer from 2009 to 2021, he led all aspects of risk management and built a global team to identify, manage and mitigate the various risks across the organization. Andrew has held various leadership roles in quantitative research, risk management and portfolio management in New York and London since joining the firm in 1997. Andrew is also a Visiting Lecturer at Cornell University, teaching in the Master of Financial Engineering and MS in Business Analytics programs. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Society of Quantitative Analysts and the editorial boards of the Journal of Portfolio Management and the Journal of Financial Data Science. He holds a BA in math and computer science, and an MBA in finance from Cornell University.

Steve Godino

Mr. Godino is the Chief Information Officer responsible for leading the software development and technology infrastructure teams. Prior to joining Viking, Mr. Godino was the Chief Technology Officer at Carlson Capital from 2011 to 2014, where he managed all aspects of technology including application development and infrastructure.   For the three years prior to joining Carlson, Mr. Godino was the Chief Information Officer of Shumway Capital, where his team focused on trading and portfolio management technology.  From 2006 to 2008, he managed software development for the JP Morgan Hedge Fund Administration unit.  Mr. Godino joined JP Morgan when it acquired the staff and systems of Paloma Partners, where Mr. Godino worked for 12 years and served as the head of software development.  Mr. Godino received his BS in Math and Computer Science from the University of Notre Dame and his JD from Pace University.

Alex Golbin

Alex Golbin, CFA, is the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Data Officer at Hudson Bay Capital. Mr. Golbin, along with Data and Technology teams, is responsible for empowering all business users with modern data and technology solutions necessary to facilitate growth at scale.

Prior to joining Hudson Bay Capital in December of 2023, Alex was a Chief Data Officer at Morningstar, where he was responsible for building, deploying and operating Enterprise Data Platform to enable seamless and easy data flow from producers to consumer across all business units of Morningstar. In addition, he led the Global Data team, which collected, analyzed and enriched Funds, Equities, Fixed Income and Alternatives data for Morningstar products consumption and distribution.  

Prior to joining Morningstar in October 2019, Alex was a Managing Director and the Global Head of Data Services at BlackRock. His group provided centralized data, valuation, reporting and portfolio analytics for the Firm, serving the dual mission of supporting BlackRock and BlackRock Solutions (BRS) clients.

Prior to joining BlackRock in 2005, Mr. Golbin was a Principal in Banc of America Securities’ Fixed Income Credit Strategy group. Previously, he was a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers Fixed Income Research department. Mr. Golbin joined Lehman Brothers in 1994 and became responsible for producing Global Family of Fixed Income Indices. Previously, Mr. Golbin spent three years as a systems analyst with Siemens Corporation.

Mr. Golbin earned a MS degree in Computer Science from Hofstra University in New York.

Shekhar Gupta

Shekhar Gupta is a Senior Vice President and Head of Alternatives Technology at PIMCO, based in the firm’s Newport Beach office. He is responsible for leading technology strategy and innovation across PIMCO’s Alternatives platform, supporting private credit, real estate, and other alternative investment businesses.

Prior to joining PIMCO, Mr. Gupta held technology leadership roles at Western Asset Management and Ares Management. He has more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of investment management, technology, and operational transformation.

Mr. Gupta holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Strategic Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is both a CFA® Charterholder and a CAIA® Charterholder. He earned his Bachelor of Technology in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Varanasi, India.

Drew Hershkowitz

Drew Hershkowitz, Managing Director, Chief Technology Officer, has primary responsibility for leading OHA’s Information Technology strategy including Application Development, Information Security, and Infrastructure. Prior to joining OHA, he worked as Chief Information & Technology Officer at Casdin Capital, L.P. and previously served as Chief Technology Officer at Carlson Capital, L.P. Mr. Hershkowitz also held Managing Director roles at Morgan Stanley and technology leadership roles at Moore Capital. He earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Pennsylvania State University.

Prior to joining ECI, Rich was Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer for PJT Partners, a boutique investment bank, Principal and Chief Information Officer for Sky Road and held Chief Information Officer positions at Arrowhawk Capital Partners and Arbalet Capital Partners. Over the years, Rich has developed and managed innovative, business aligned platforms, that drive revenue and operational efficiencies. Rich holds positions on several Advisory Boards and volunteers his time to help non-profits leverage technology. 

Matt Katz

As Arcesium’s Field CTO, Matt leads Arcesium’s Forward Deployed Software Engineering and Client Success teams. In this role, Matt leads teams to empower clients with the platform and engineer boutique solutions for their unusual challenges. He also serves on Arcesium’s Software Development Kit steering committee and Change Advisory Board, bringing client perspectives to technical change. 

Matt began his career as a software developer on trade execution management systems for Sungard Data Systems. He then spent 9 years working at the BNP Paribas Prime Brokerage, first as a software engineer but eventually as the head of Client Facing Technology. Prior to joining Arcesium, Matt was the global head of software development and support for Perella Weinberg Partners.

Sean Lensborn

Sean Lensborn is the Chief Operating Officer of the ZAIS Group, bringing 20 years of technology experience in a wide variety of roles and industries. Before joining ZAIS in October of 2019, Mr. Lensborn was the Chief Information Officer for DBRS, a Global Credit Ratings Agency. He spent 10 years in this role at DBRS where he modernized the Technology, Cyber Security, Quantitative Modeling, and Data Management organizations.

Prior to DBRS, Mr. Lensborn spent 10 years in consulting, engineering leadership and software engineering roles with clients including major financial institutions and large firms in the air travel, technology and telecommunications sectors. Mr. Lensborn studied Computer Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Eric Levin

Mr. Levin serves as the firm’s Chief Technology Officer. He is responsible for overseeing the strategic implementation of technology and information systems for the firm. Prior to joining GCM Grosvenor, Mr. Levin spent 13 years at PEAK6 Investments, most recently serving as Chief Information Officer of Apex Clearing, PEAK6’s clearing, custody, and execution business. He was also an Operating Principal on the firm’s Strategic Capital team and served on the Investment Committee which was responsible for strategic investments made across financial services, technology services, and FinTech. He joined PEAK6 as Chief Security Officer and also served as the IT Director for several years. Previously, Mr. Levin led product management at Qualys, Inc. He began his career at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu where he was a member of the Global Information Security Office. Mr. Levin received his Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Miami University. He serves as a member of the Advisory Board of the Information System and Analytics Department of Miami University.

Aydin Mirzaee

He works closely with those firms on adopting AI meeting capture within their privacy, security, and compliance requirements. Prior to Fellow, he co-founded Fluidware, acquired by SurveyMonkey, where he served as General Manager.

Jill Weiner

Jill Weiner is a Managing Director and Director of Operations at Sculptor Capital, a global alternative asset manager. She leads the operational platform supporting the firm’s multi-strategy and credit businesses and is responsible for driving operational strategy, scalability, and process innovation across the investment lifecycle.

Over her 15-year tenure at Sculptor, Jill has helped build and enhance the infrastructure supporting a complex global investment platform, partnering across investment, technology, finance, legal, and compliance functions. Her experience spans operational transformation, automation, counterparty management, treasury operations, and the implementation of technology-driven solutions to support growth and evolving market structures.

Prior to joining Sculptor in 2011, Jill was an Assistant Vice President at Deutsche Bank, where she supported multiple derivatives trading desks across a range of asset classes.

Jill holds a B.S. in Finance from Syracuse University and is an active participant in industry discussions on hedge fund operations, technology, and operational excellence.
